Morgan E.
Private tutor in Warrensburg, MO
Education
I graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School in 2012, and I am now attending the University of Central Missouri to study psychology with a minor in professional photography.
Experience
As a requirement of the A+ program, I tutored kindergarten and first grade students for a semester during high school. On the ACT, my highest score was 30, and my lowest score was a 27. I graduated high school with a GPA of 4.5 and my GPA as a college freshman is a 4.0. I would like to be a tutor because I simply want to help students succeed. Giving students a different perspective and way of thinking on subjects can help them learn in an all new way, and I want to provide the help they need to allow them to be the best they can be. The classes I've taken in relevance to my desired tutoring subjects are marching band, psychology, advanced reading comprehension and writing English courses, digital imaging, statistics, algebra, analytic geometry, trigonometry, biology, ACT preparatory courses, and Spanish I and II. In the past, I was a member of the National Honors Society as well as the National Society of High School Scholars. In 2006, I attended the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C., and was invited back as an alumni in 2007 to a conference in Boston, MA. In 2009, I had the honor of watching President Barack Obama swear into office during the Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference.
