Experience
I've tutored for elementary students before, but haven't had much official experience with older children. However, I was the student in class who helped others when I got done, and I often help my friends with their assignments now. I also used to help my sister with her math homework when I lived at home. I just recently began tutoring someone in a basic Spanish class as a volunteer. I received a 3 on the AP Literature and AP Art test last year. I received an overall score of 27 on my ACT test, with the highest being a 31 in Reading. When I tutored elementary children, I was in a class that taught me lots of different ways to tutor children. I've been taking Spanish classes for the past 5 years and I really understand the basics of grammar. I really enjoy working with children, which is why I plan on being a social worker.

Hobbies
I love art. I frequently doodle on my notes, which isn't because I'm not paying attention, but because I remember the information better if there's a picture with the words. I'm extremely visual, so my tutoring technique will also revolve around lots of graphics and doing the work, rather than just talking. I enjoy listening to music, exercising at the gym, and watching documentaries on Netflix. I am very persistent, patient, and organized, and I actually enjoy being in class and learning new things.
